Why read a novel when the mysteries to be solved in our history is the greatest puzzle of all. Long Islanders tell me that they have old letters and many suspicions of their ancestor’s part in intelligence gathering and disseminating during the Revolutionary War. Possibly, local people will be encouraged to present more letters and artifacts. Hopefully, my book MISSING LINKS TO THE CULPER SPY RING? will crack open the door to further investigations of the spies who brought freedom to America.
